NBL SIM

The Concept

"The NBL" uses DDS pro from Wolverine to Provide its members with a moderate paced NBA simulation

In the NBL a season takes six to eight weeks, so why wait a whole year to reload your team when you do not have to?

"The NBL" is the brain child of Bill Weber aka Spiritgm1, launched in August 2007 it has evolved into a way of life for many. The NBL does not pretend to be the NBA, the players are allowed to develop in their own right and not up or downgraded according to the League Commissioners opinion of what is happening in the NBA. There is no get out clause, each GM has the same information and opportunity to excel or drown in the competition.

Drafting

Judging the Rookie Class

Each SIM there is a draft with teams picking based on the previous seasons final placings and lottery draw. To enable each GM to prepare for this

  • Player Ratings
  • Mock Draft
  • Player descriptions
  • Player Ball Ratings

are provided. The Rookie Draft is followed by free agency where the more prudent GM's can spend their franchises spare cap. The NBL has a soft cap of $71-000-000 and a hard cap of $95-000-000.
